My eyes are tired and hurting,
My body is tired of all the aching,
My head is pounding,
My throat is parched,
My mind says sleep,
But my heart says no
My mind continues to think,
But deep inside there is no solution to it,
Just hoping that things would lighten up between them,
And that I won't feel so heavy and regretful about it,
I hate to see people upset,
I'd rather be the person taking that fall.
